Your posts kind of bring John fraud Kerry’s comments about our troops terrorizing villages in the night to mind.

The founding Fathers had little to no authority to do anything much at the time of the revolution. They plodded along on hope and prayer mostly, and could not even muster the authority to feed and supply the continentals and the militia. They knew that they would likely lose all, and even die for the cause of liberty.

They did know what they wanted, and fortunately through their thinking we also know (http://www.usconstitution.net/const.html).

There was practically nothing in place at the time of the revolution in terms of government on the side of the colonists, we were under British rule after all. They did have a base of business and agriculture as do we, and I admit it may be harder for us to move food. (This assumes that food is moving. I wonder after reading some thoughts from those involved in agriculture here.)

We do have something that the colonists did not have back then.

You said: “THIS is the stuff the Founding Fathers thought about before declaring independence. Have YOU or your buddies thought about it?”

OUR FOUNDING FATHERS ALREADY THOUGHT ABOUT THIS FOR US, and they told us what must happen if the government is usurped, and plainly reinforced the fact that our GOD given right to bear arms is the way to rest our nation from the usurpers if it comes to it.

They told us that blood must refresh the tree of liberty from time to time.

What would be worse, an entire great nation of liberty reduced to bread lines, gulags, and state atheism under communists, or that refreshing that the Founding Fathers warned us about?

I wonder how you would have felt back then.

Personal insults do exactly nothing to bolster your case.

They didn’t just wing it. Read some history. They understood the consequences and debated it before signing the Declaration. They were mindful of what would happen. They evaluated the risks and reward. They made strategic battle plans. They secured alliances with friendly factions. You guys have done none of this, indeed, you don’t even think you need to.
