Kack's point was about calling good evil and evil good and is entirely correct in linking it to the type of speech to expect in the last days.

Isaiah 5:20 - "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. "

So if one asserts that it’s silly to introduce “the last days” and/or the apocalypse and/or “the beast” and whatever other doom and gloom biblical prophecy into otherwise sensible political political/taxation/liberty discussions on FR (or elsewhere), then you are saying that person is arrogant or a sinner or a “scoffer”?

I’d say that’s an attmpt to chort-circuit rational political discourse.

And of course it never answers and in fact evades the issue at hand.
