Attorney Gloria Allred has injected herself into the wildly controversial story of octo-mom Nadya Suleman.
According to the Long Beach Press-Telegram, Gloria Allred and Angels in Waiting foundation founder Linda West-Conforti are offering to provide free housing, counseling and medical servicesAngels in Waiting Offers to Help Octo-Mom Nadya Suleman to the Suleman family for at least six months.
Prior to the Angels in Waiting offer, Gloria Allred tried to help the octuplets in another way.
Gloria Allred feels, as do many, that it may not be in the best interest of the children to stay with Nadya Suleman and that she therefore ought to be investigated.
To that end, Allred filed a complaint with the California Department of Children and Family Services. On the same day, however, Linda West-Conforti e-mailed Suleman with her offer.
Now West-Conforti and Allred have apparently joined forces to force Suleman's hand.
The Angels in Waiting offer is yet another plot twist in what has become one of the most talked-about stories of the year.
When the story of the birth of the California octuplets first broke, the media understandably jumped on it, as it was only the second time that eight babies have ever been born at one time in the United States.
In order for the offer to stay on the table, Nadya Suleman must agree to it by next Thursday.

Honestly I’m kinda glad. As pathetic as the baby factory is, I don’t want to see the children split up.
A headscratcher if ever there was one.
On the one hand, Gloria Allred is clearly hogging the limelight as usual.
On the other, it seems that she might really be trying to help Octomom (temporarily) and try to coax her to give up the kids.
Things that make you go: hmmmmm.
Will Octo-mom accept the offer? She’s too busy shopping right now to think it over...
Because being raised in a litter by an idiot is good for babies?
Last I heard, the Octomom was shopping for a $million home. Why would she need these losers? She is already drawing her government check plus some mystery bucks (someone paid for the in-vitro treatments that resulted in 8 babies).
Where’s the daddies? 6 kids before the octuplets...
Why would someone undergo fertility treatments and in-vitro, carrying octuplets for months, to then give them up? Motivated by money?

Ms. Alred, first you want to kill them, then you want to sponsor them. Please describe the thought process that produced this “progression”.
Allred and the Angels organization are both motivated by money. The amount of money the Angels want to spend on caregivers is outrageous.. they are trying to out do the OctoMom in cashing in on these babies.
They are no better than her.
The Grand parents however do show a level of caring and should be listened to.
I’m all for protecting children, but do not have ANY faith in government doing so. Family first. If family can’t do it, then look at alternatives, but the gov’t needs to get the heck out of family matters.
I heard that the home OctoMom (the medicated muzzie welfare mom)is on the short list for is $1.25 million, in Whittier, CA. It has 4 bedrooms and a pool.
Not bad, huh?
