Oh please. The media has created a messianic figure who according to Terry Moran (Moron?) of Nightline "had to step down into the Presidency." Obama has done nothing to work the media; the media works for him and supports him.
That One does not hesitate to bring out any kind of dirt he can find on anyone who disagrees with him. There has to be a mountain of blackmailable dirt on just about any reporter who has advanced high enough to be in a position to control the flow of news. It’s probably pretty easy for him to work the media to his advantage.

The MSM are bitter, engaged adversaries of any Conservative or Pubbie of any stripe and it would not have mattered one whit had W spent every waking hour working on a nifty PR image or message. Nothing that portrayed the man or his administration's policies in a positive light would have ever been given a platform to make the case.
Obama has good press because the press is viscerally invested in his positive image and policy success.
