Something along those lines. I think it is actually ‘soma’ for the masses to avoid social unrest/breakdown. Think about it- who is more likely to revolt/riot? the deadbeats, losers and other assorted dregs that got in over their heads and never should have gotten the homes, or the hard-working, tax-paying, honest people that struggle to pay their mortgages and bills? Obama knows who, so he doesn’t care about pissing the latter off- they will just continue to work and pay their bills, even if they are angry. The first group (that he targets with this ‘help’) are the ones with nothing to lose and will riot in the streets if they don’t get what they want. The squeaky wheel gets the oil, so to speak.
No. He must pay back all those folks that went out of their way to vote that day (the only time many of them ever voted, and many only checked that one box) and keep them on the D rolls.
