Funny, if it weren’t for one of my best friends shooting himself in the head, at age 17, while “cleaning his .22 rifle.” Alter boy, at “Our Lady of Sorrows” parish, Farmington, MI. Was being molested by Father Gary, who I knew. Came out later he was doing alter boys.

One of the deacons there was a big leader in our boy scout troop. Troop 179. Popular guy with the boys, including me. Rick Authere (sp) was his name. Met him again around 19 or so, with some friends.
