In all reality, a 9mm will go through a windshield without a problem, and it shreds through a metal door as well (see the Box O Truth test).
Millions have been killed by the 9mm round; ask the Israeli Defense Force what they think of the 9mm and the 5.56mm rifle round. They seem to trust the survival of their nation to those calibers!
