Yeah, I will be - I’m turning 21 in the summer, so I hope there will still be time. My family owns 5 guns, so I’m not necessarily a stranger to them, but the advice is most definitely welcome.

I’ll certainly look into it

Check it out at Kel Tec. And there's a GREAT user group at Kel Tec Owners Group.

IF you get one, take it apart, give it a VERY thorough cleaning, give it the "fluff and buff" found at KTOG, and then go run a few hundred rounds through it. VERY reliable, insanely small, and made in America (Cocoa Beach, FL). It's the polymer handle/frame-wrap that makes it light, just like on Glocks and most modern semi-auto pistols.

Oh, and loaded (6 in the magazine, 1 in the chamber), it's just over 11 ounces...;) Gotta like that! Same size as the P32 (photo above), but just a hair wider (by 1/16th of an inch).

I carry in a pocket holster from Pocket Holsters. It rides in my rear strong-side pocket - jeans or slacks. Weak side has the wallet. It fits like a glove, and pulling it out is literally a sub-two-second affair from initial touch to on-target. And NO WAY to have an AD - the trigger opening is FULLY covered by a VERY stiff leather holster on BOTH sides of the trigger.

If it sounds like I'm shilling Kel Tec, well I'm just a VERY satisfied customer. Close to 1000 rounds through my P32 without a problem, and the SU-16A rifle that I have (another K-T design) has been trouble-free for close to 2000 rounds of 223.

A Masterkey mounted on an AR-15 would be ideal.

You CC a .44Mag? Is it a snub nose?

Compare the largest rimfire caliber with the largest centerfire caliber.

They’d sooner go after .50BMG than .22LR.

From Tupac's Wikipedia Page:

On the night of November 30, 1994, the day before the verdict in his sexual abuse trial was to be announced, Shakur was shot five times and robbed after entering the lobby of Quad Recording Studios in Manhattan by two armed men in army fatigues. He would later accuse Sean Combs,[28] Andre Harrell, and Biggie Smalls — whom he saw after the shooting — of setting him up. Shakur also suspected his close friend and associate, Randy "Stretch" Walker, of being involved in the attempt.

The KelTec is a neat little gun, and I was ready to buy one, but when I held one at the local gun store, I wasn’t impressed. It looked and felt “chincy” - the fit and finish was more like a 5 and dime toy pistol made in China. I ended up buying a Ruger LCP, it looks and feels like a real gun - beautifully made. Its almost identical to the P3AT.

I’ve heard that it is possible for a car windshield to deflect a 9mm, depending on the angle of the windshield and the trajectory..

Heh... The LCP should look like the P3AT - it’s darn near an exact copy. In fact, most of the parts are completely interchangeable (and the P3AT was out a good 3 years before the LCP was even rumored). But it’s a great design, and TINY...:)

A car windshield can deflect a 50 BMG depending upon the angle of the glass and the trajectory of the bullet.

In all reality, a 9mm will go through a windshield without a problem, and it shreds through a metal door as well (see the Box O Truth test).

Millions have been killed by the 9mm round; ask the Israeli Defense Force what they think of the 9mm and the 5.56mm rifle round. They seem to trust the survival of their nation to those calibers!
