You are quoted as saying that “To avoid raising taxes and still balance the books in Sacramento, you’d have to virtually shut down state government.” and you seem to be trying to make it sound like a bad thing. Why is that? Why does government always have to grow, AT MY EXPENSE, while I am struggling to make ends meet? Why does government seem to think that it has first claim to MY wallet, while the contents of said wallet are shrinking already due to the economy? Why are you shilling for this government?
I’d surely appreciate hearing from you as to why you apparently seem to think that I should suffer more while making sure that your buddies in government, who are largely responsible for the current economic conditions, should make out like bandits at MY expense.
