Sad that so many Republicans in Maine support her, election cycle after election cycle. Nothing but a socialist, who wraps herself in GOP clothing. A classic two-timer.

I guess once upon a time she pretended to be a fiscal conservative.

The one good thing about the stimulus vote is that we can throw out the charade of fiscal conservative/social liberal.

Snowe has made it her mission to undermine and destroy “her” Party.

It's my party and I'll lie if I wanna ...

Fine, Olympia, if you don't like freedom, go to the party of big government. IT's okay, and it's way better than pretending to be what you're not. Being a closet commie must be SO hard for the self-esteem and all ....

An appropriate comment for Ms. Snowe from the past.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”—Samuel Adams

As a Maine native who recently returned to Maine I’ve told Snowe (and Collins) that I am disgusted with them and they will not get any support from my family. I’ll actively support any conservative who challenges either of them. (As if that will happen in Maine but I can hope.)

Why did I leave Maine? To have a career. Why did we return to Maine? We love the coast of Maine plus I am semi-retired now and my work is location independent.

It is insulting for Snowe to call herself a Republican when she clearly is nothing more than a socialist.

Be gone, Olympia, be gone from us.

Since I don't live in Maine and I don't believe there truly is a RNC to send campaign money to I am thinking of making thousands of signs with the pictures of these two Senators only with donkey ears attached and saying

“Better to Vote for a real Donkey than a Rino who acts like an Ass”

She clearly has mental problems because when did she join the party and WHY exactly? The Republicans are the party of Reagan and have always been more on a conservative slant. Now you could take Rudy Giuliani who is a social liberal, but in the end he is tough on crime, foreign affairs and is small gov’t and tax cuts nationally. As this Snowe job voted for this socialist joke of a bill it needs to be asked just WHY and HOW she was EVER a ‘Republican’? She now has her name attached to this disaster. Let her take it to the grave.

In some ways she is right. Too many Republicans have followed these RINOs and even made the mistake of nominating John McCain. However, with the exception of Snowe Collins and Spector the GOP has awoke to the danger at our door and for the first time since 1994 been united in a common cause. Yes, Olympia the GOP has changed, but you remained stuck on stupid.

Snowe: My Party Has Changed

Madam, your party may, or may not, have changed; but you have ALWAYS been a traitor.

Folks Olympia Snowe is politically strong enough to be reelected but as a “moderate” SHE STANDS FOR NOTHING AND THIS IS HER WEAKNESS.

She stands for nothing and can be played like a violin IF we are smart enough to THINK.

FIRST WE MUST TAKE OVER ALL THE LOCAL PARTIES!

(short of a secret handshake) ALL PEOPLE WHO POST ON FREE REPUBLIC NEED TO INVADE THE LOCAL GOP PARTIES. (don’t think acorn and co have not thought of this)

When’s she up for re-election?

RNC might do well to spend a few bucks on an ad campaign to seat a more Traditionally Conservative Constitution-defending Republican in her place.

I emailed her two or three times and told her she was a RINO and should just change parties because she was not Traditional, Conservative, or Constitution Defending.

Actually what a real leader does is inspire more people to join the base (and thus vote for them) by eloquently espousing the principals of conservatism. Which is why these Rinos don’t have a clue. They are just socialists that don’t really know anything about conservate thougt.

Snowe: My Party Has Changed

Gee, ya think? Was that not YOUR main objective, you twit?

The Republican Main Street Partnership was founded in 1998 to promote thoughtful leadership in the Republican Party, and to partner with individuals, organizations and institutions that share centrist values.
