The linked story doesn’t say what % of births were among immigrants/muslims...and it’s clearly a promo piece for the make-babies ministry in Berlin. The economic calamity hit hard late last year, so last year’s births have no relation to the state of the economy.
Whatever the case may be, they need more kids, they will either come from foreigners or Germans, someone needs to carry on.
