At the federal level, there is a law about not putting the likeness of a person on a stamp or coin until after his death...this is a slippery slope indeed.

By the end of the year we'll probably have laws requiring his picture to be displayed in every business, school, and everywhere else... just like they do in third-world dictatorships.

It used to be considered unethical, or at least immodest and in bad taste, to name a building, bridge, etc. after a living person. Now that pork is the law of the land, and we lurch precipitously toward communism, naming things after the Great Leader who bestowed them on the grateful peasantry is already going on in the Demonrats’ urban bastions.
