I have a lot of respect for this Pope. I am not Catholic but I consider his statements and teachings so far to have been a powerful force for good in the world. If he meets with Pelosi without issuing any kind of rebuke I would have to reevaluate his standing. Christ welcome the sinners but he made it no secret that he loved them despite their sins and that because of his mercy their greivous actions could be overcome if they would but repent.

We will never know the conent of their private meeting, if any. You can rest assured that BXVI will remind her of the scandal she has caused with her public statements while a visible witness to the faith. She needs our prayers. That is OUR responsibility - not public gossip.
