I’m not so sure. Pope Benedict is much more of a tell it like it is type of pope; not so much a sugar-coated one.

Why not public? Matthew 10:32-33 implies those who fear to openly confess Jesus are, in essence, lost. Is the Pope,the head of the Church on earth afraid to openly condemn teaching (abortion) which is publicly flaunted by leaders like Pelosi? Or has he,too, been co-opted by sin? I’d ask him to his face if I could, and not accept that “we must be like sinners to save the sinners” baloney.
