Rather than secede, couldn’t we just kick a few states out?
This is nowhere close to happening(secession). Not that I’d oppose it but really, it’s fantasy. Most of the U.S. citizens think of themselves as subjects(sad in itself) of the federal govt. first. Hardly anyone thinks of themselves as, say, a Virginian or Oklahoman first and U.S. citizen second as was the case 100-200 years ago. Few people even realize the 2nd amendment is actually in the BoR to allow for overthrow of a tyrannical Federal govt., not hunting.
