Bipartisan opposition.
Partisan Democrat support.
And not one of the representatives was allowed enough time to read the bill, much less analyze it properly with due diligence.

THIS VOTE IS A REALITY CHECK
for those who say the GOP must be abandoned and that true Conservatives must start a new party.

I am shocked. I thought for sure that they would get a few Repuke votes. Shocked and filled with a little pride that SOMEONE in the Republican Party stood up for the American taxpayer.
It’s really too bad that between 2001 and 2009 the Republicans did nothing to curb spending or the growth of givernment. It’s doubtful that the Democrats would now be in power if they had.

If this plan fails, which it will, do we get to call the Dems on the carpet and say, “No more plane rides for you. You're walking home!” They are at the helm of a failed policy.

From, A href="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29179041/">MSNBCTold that no Republican backed the measure, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs reacted by citing another number: "3.5 million jobs that we look forward to saving or creating."
So now they touting saving jobs as a measure of success. That's not measurable.

Well done by the Republicans to hold together against this incredible pig of a bill, and also well done by the seven Democrats brave enough to face the wrath of the radically left House leadership.

NOT ONE REPUBLICAN VOTED FOR THE BILL. THEY HELD FIRM. That's the very small silver lining.

The Republicans are dropping the ball here. They should be praising the 7 Democrats for their patriotism and bipartisanship.
