These three RINO senators are useful the fools to the left. They should be purged from the republican party as soon as possible.

Senator Collins is useful.. the only politician that has made it her career to keep and grow jobs in Maine--especially with a steady workload at the Bath Iron Works, by restored the nation’s shrinking U.S. Navy fleet and over seas contracts to BIW. Senator Collins has always promoted a strong national defense. She along with Bush has kept us safe since 9/11. As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Collins successfully advocated for dual-lead ship DDG-1000 acquisition strategy and has consistently opposed a “one-shipyard” proposal for construction of the next generation of surface combatants.

It came as no surprise, as back in December, Collins and Snowe had already met with Obama on "infrastructure investment which was to be part of a larger economic stimulus package that would include energy improvements, such as weatherization programs (tax breaks for a cold state), and business cluster development"..."projects with sufficient planning and engineering completed that they could be put out to bid within three to six months of enactment of a federal stimulus package"..."7,000 construction jobs could be created in Maine in '09" says DOT." Repairs to infrastructure in Maine had been way over due. Much bridge replacement specifically has been ongoing since most were deemed unsafe. Augusta has been footloose with tax/fee and spend in other directions, even to lose millions to accounting?--the poor legacy of a Democratic controlled state for approximately 30 years.

I voiced to her, several times, (always with reply) I did not want this stimulus package, but it would have passed without any Republicans on board with fewer tax cuts if any included at all. Her job was to monitor the spending (BI0)

She has always been popular in Maine with small business leaders (100% rating). That's most of Maine's economy. She is highly respected by both parties here in Maine--thus her reelection blowout over Democrat Tom Allen(MoveOn.org heavily financed!!!!) this past election.

She is getting chasticed for inclusions removed that could be handled outside of this package under separate consideration. (Here with Cheney)

I understand your dismay, but in Maine--Rhino or not, knowing her history, she has earned our respect--she does not just safely blow media rhetoric from the sidelines, she mixes it up and makes the best out of the crap Obama and His Tax Jumpin' Boyz throw under their one gang rule. Stay very aware of the 2010 census issue!!!

Meanwhile McCain, not yet down from his HIGH of running for President is sending out e-mails, not relevant to the stimulus package; but voicing his intent to run again for the Senate and seeking Republican support $$$.
