I have no clue. I don’t think anyone else does either short 50 million people going to DC and camping out there.

Remember Dan's bake sale? We need something like that.

It would be really funny to do it at Woodstock. But, it needs to be in a conservative state so the revenue doesn't go to these rats.

It would need to make the coronation of the One look tiny.

I'm thinking tax revolt. Everyone who pays quarterlies stop sending them. Plan on paying penalty april 15, 2010. My guess is they would pass legislation immediately making the penalty severe.

While that has some appeal, the possibility of the penalties and being "made an example" are a bit beyond what some people might want.

I've been thinking that perhaps general strikes are a better way. Call it "Tax Free Friday." Workers take a day of unpaid "medical" leave (due to the fact they are sick of paying taxes). Small businesses close one day a week. Income and payroll tax collections go down by 20% within a month. Economic activity is reduced by that much as well.

We're already in a recession that's getting deeper. The economic harm will come whether we do it now to make the statement, or just sit back and wait.
