I don’t trust Gregg now for leaving in the first place.
The Dems will try to torture this man. They will not let Gregg “off” for this. Just wait and see.
I never understood why he took it in the first place either. I guess he took Obama at his word that he would engage in “new politics” and be bipartisan.
My guess is that Gregg didn’t like what he saw once he got inside Obamaland. Once he saw the Alinsky-style Chicago politics at play, he decided he’d be better staying on his own team. Clearly, Obama was playing Gregg and the Republicans for fools, here, and I’m glad that he wised up.
