Pressure has never worked on Specter before therefore I doubt it would start working now.

I believe it may be more productive to spend that time praying for the Lord to smite him.
As one of his long suffering constituents I will never forget the GOP and Bush administration heavily backing Specter over Pat Toomey in his primary fight. The Quislings insisted that "we must protect this seat" and "Specter is our only hope".
Now we all get to eat it.

Put an add in the local paper to all the people that voted for this turn coat and let them know what he did..Also do the same to Collins and Snowe..it won't do any good to write these yellow bellies an email..they don't care. They have the crominal de,ocrats behind them..so they are not scared since all of them have gotten away with crimes..

ROFLOL! Specter OWES the unions big time from his last election and is dependent on them (and the Democrats) to get him elected again. NO WAY will he cross them. Trying to influence him on this is like trying to influence him on anything - FUTILE - unless you want him to vote for something the Democrats are proposing.

I think it’s a waste of time for someone in Florida to call a Penn senator. It never works unless his constitutients do the pressuring. But truthfully, they don’t care no matter who calls.

The only time Specter felt any pressure was 4 years ago when he was faced with an actual primary opponent. A conservative, no less. Then of course, our imbecile White House occupant and Ricky Santorum decided to campaign for Arlen...you know, because he was such a proud, true, dependable and honorable “republican.” Well that was the final moronic act which cost Santorum his seat. And the rest of us have been paying for that RINO lunacy ever since. My suggestion is for a dozen actual Americans to grab that a$$hat Specter by the scruff of the neck, throw him in his car and tell him he has just been fired. Return to his office at his own peril. And Arlen would only be for starters.

The Employee Free Choice Act (card check) is costing jobs now. Fired employees can not be a part of a unionization campaign. If they have signed cards or sign cards in the future, these cards will not count under the EFCA. Most employers believe the 'card check' legislation will pass this year. Employers are terrified of how easy it will be to unionize their workforces when this law passes. They are taking every step possible to prevent this from occurring. You can find information about what the Employees Free Choice Act(card check) is and how to
fight back against 'card check' here.
