Her son said he “left his job” to tend to mom. Why didn’t she go live with him in NY if he was gainfully employed?

Corey Hughes, who left his job in New York in early 2008, said he had been trying to take care of his mom. Both have searched for jobs and have come up empty, as have so many other Southwest Floridians. Henrietta said the family came here due to the high cost of living in New York.
