Alternately, you can view it as one long episode of permanent insanity.
Beck and Hannity = insanity. Too many good conservative voices to pay attention to these two shrill ego maniacs. My opinion...no better or worse than anyone else.
I watched the program this afternoon, it wasn’t insanity. The healthcare issue he was discussing is IN the stimulus package and it indeed rations our healthcare... and socializes medicine all in one fell swoop.. Turns out Daschle had told the democrats the only way they could get socialized medicine passed was to stick it into a spending bill because most people wouldn’t know it was there until it was too late — so the did — and most people are clueless that it’s there.
I don’t know about Beck. I’ve only heard him once or twice, so I’m not claiminig ANYTHING for or about him.
But, humanly, because of the sin nature that affects even (by human estimation) good and upright men, all real visionaries, prophets and seers have temporary moments of insanity. Many are eccentric and very hard to deal with.
Near the beginning of the School Year he went on for three or four nights in a row about how terrorist were about to hijack school buses. It was starting to cause me great concern, with my son in the first grade. Now half a school year later I'm looking back at that week of programming way over the top.
