The military will not go against the President’s orders. Rebels will then find themselves going up against the most powerful military on the planet without any support from the rest of the world. How long do you think they will last then? A month? Two months?

The military will not go against the Presidents orders...You obviously haven't spoken to military personnel regarding this president.

The military is not obligated to obey an illegal order. Obama cannot order the military to shoot tax cheats. Obama cannot order the military to do house to house searches. Obama cannot order the military to shoot people for civil disobedience. He can try, but get the right kind of general and he might decide that Obama is a domestic enemy.
Unless it come to shooting the military will stay out. And if it does it a 50/50 bet on which way they go.

Lol...the war in Afghanistan is going on it’s eight year battling the Taliban who in no way compare in size, firepower, or technology to the coalition forces. I’d give the rebels at least 15-20 years based on this alone and coming out with the victory.
