But here in PA they load up the ballot boxes with voter fraud from Philly and da ‘Burgh.

We'll just end up with another Dem, like we did when we lost Santorum for Casey Jr.

I thought Main [sic] was more Independent

Any politician who describes him or herself as "Independent" is just a liberal.

Specter, Snow, and Collins are so stupid and vain they think the Dems are applauding them and consider them courageous. Truth is, over cocktails, the Dems are laughing themselves silly over these 3 “USEFUL IDIOTS.”

Pat Toomey, Specter’s former rival in the 2004 primary race who narrowly lost to him, said that he was pretty confident that he could win and that Specter was actually “more vulnerable now than he was in 2004.”

that's a bet I will take. Can you believe I just got an email from McCain saying that he would run again and asking him for a donation? LOL I will donate to whoever runs against RINOS no matter what state they are in.

They need to be removed from the republican party. We all know they’re Rinos. Give them the boot.

It is imperative that we call Speaker Pelosi and INSIST that we have been cheated by the Senate. We want ALL of the original provisions put back into the bill. She will be letting us down if all of our hopes and dreams of meeting the needs of the underserved and the needy in our communities are not funded in this bill. We have waited decades for her to rise to the position where she can help us deliver our vision of utopia.

Hopefully one down. The question is can a more conservative republican win OBama’s Pennsylvania. If not then we have just switched out a liberal republican for a more liberal democrat.

He’s toast. People won’t forget.

They forgot about that "Scottish Law" crap during the Clinton impeachment.

Well! If there is ANYTHING good that comes out of this “stimulus” bill, it’s that we will finally be rid of Specter!

I called in to Specter’s Pittsburgh office today and told the (very bored) young lady on the other end that I would never vote for him. I also told her that, if he voted for this bill, that it was a huge step into socialism and I accused him of treason. She just said “OK, I’ll tell him”. (sounding bored again)

He’s toast.

"Arlen Specter mistakenly thought that his moderate compromise on the stimulus bill would be more warmly received"

This is also another reason why Congress still severely needs term limits!

I have also come to that conclusion! When these old coots are there for over 30 - 40 years it's too damn long! By that time they have their entire family and most of their friends all working for the government too. It ends up being one big incestuous whore house!
