I am interested to see if anything comes up on Australia’s fires.
All of Australia’s other friends and allies have offered condolences and sympathy at this point - well over a day or so ago. President Obama hasn’t made any statement yet and the fact is being noted here. Many Australians felt that GWB was the first US President to really take our friendship and alliance seriously. We don’t think he would have taken well over 48 hours to make any comment on a major disaster in a friendly country.
Especially a disaster that is most likely rooted in terrorism.
It sounds horrible....such a loss of lives....
...Was it arson for sure?
How sad that Obama did not mention word one on the fires in Austrailia!
Shows how self centered this man is!! SAD!
Someone I know lost two dogs and a cat to the fire when a propane tank exploded and engulfed their house. They barely survived by taking refuge in their car which was under a metal carport noy attached to the house. They think their neighbors (husb. and wife) did not survive. The photo they took from inside their car during the fire is an entire screen of inferno, which was their house.
Couldn’t bring myself to watch...did he say anything about the fires? I’m so terribly sorry for all of the death and destruction. I can’t believe that a** of a president hasn’t said something earlier.
Let me say that many Americans feel great allegiance with Australia and are seriously concerned about this tragedy.
Obama thinks the world will just love him because of who he is* and ignore what he does.
*if you know who he is, please tell us.
