And Mayor Daley of Chicago basically gave the country the bird when asked where his money from the stimulus would go. 'It's none of your business where I put that stimulus money'. I know where I'd like to put Daley's stimulus money! One thing about the Dems.....they never acknowledge that it's really OUR money, not theirs!

"Don’t give me the wine and dine baloney young lady.”

And don't give America your senior statesman above-it-all baloney, you steaming RINO pantload.

You are GONE next year. Enjoy your ambassadorship.

I really wanted her to ask him where the money was coming from; who’s paying and how? I want someone to ask that question before this thing is passed!

It sure doesn’t sound above board, all the way around. I caught part of Specter’s interview on Hannity today and Specter sounded like a dirty lawyer trying to make you believe that grass isn’t green. I was also struck when he said something like he’d already agreed to it a week ago, so that’s what he was going to do...he wasn’t even open to reconsideration or discussion of important points. I took away from his comment that he made a “promise” to the Rats and it was more important to honor that, however ill-advised, instead of being concerned about what is in this nation’s best interests.

Laura has more testosterone in her panties than the rest of the Republican Senate combined

Are you sure Laura wears panties?

Gee, Sphincter, can you explain why your own Congressional Budget Office thinks it’s a bad idea, why every economist except those slight of hand Keynesians thinks it’s a bad idea, and most of America thinks it’s a bad idea.

But by all means, jerkweed, take your marching orders from Ed Rendell. Hope he votes in your state.

“Now let’s get off it Laura,” Specter replied. “I’m not drinking any wine at the White House and I don’t dine at the White House. If the president wants to talk to me – I talk to him and I make my own independent judgment. Don’t give me the wine and dine baloney young lady.”

Looks like the pressure's getting to him...testy, testy, Senator. Laura had better tone it down...the old goat, being the useful idiot that he is, might threaten to side with the democrats on the (Un)Fairness Doctrine to teach her a lesson!

Let him. GOOD JOB, Laura Ingraham!

I called Specter’s office last week asking him to vote NO, but he does whatever he wants. Having him for my senator is not good, but when he leaves office, this state will elect a democrat. People here want handouts...

I don’t really agree with this. We have some very good senators.

Specter just doesn’t care what we think of him. I stopped voting for him years ago. He’s lucky Pres. Bush campaigned all over this state for him. I’ll never be able to figure that one out.

Whoa! He called Laura “young lady”??? What a dirty, condescending sh*t he is! For him to try to put her in her place like that speaks volumes. The only time I’ve seen men who are not elder relatives speak to an adult woman like that is when they’ve got something to hide.

Specter gets away with everything. I’m remembering that Rush had Specter on his show to plug his book, maybe last year. That was pointless.

I've mentioned before that we lived in Syracuse 17 years. Every year, twice a year we would drive down I-81 to Ga or Northern Va.

We never saw an end to the roadway construction. Ever.

Sphincter does realize the woman is a national show, right?

I hope Michale Steele emails him that since we can’t count on him to support Republicans in the Senate, the Republicans won’t supprt him on his Senate bid!

I truly admire a woman with brains and guts.

I’d like to have about 15 minutes to sweet-talk her.

Some dirty backroom deal no doubt! He is more concerned about his own re-election than he is this country. His name should be mud in this party from here on out.
