This was before the internet, so I don’t have a link. It was well-covered by the Patriot-News paper, and would be in their archives, but I doubt if those have been digitized that far back. An inquiry at the State Museum Archives there in downtown HBG. might yield something.

I saw the complex first-hand. It was in upper Perry County. I was with Jack Gaughen Realtor then, and we went up there on inspection, after the muzzies had moved out.

This is still going on in many rural areas of the northeast,as you an see by the reports on “Islamberg”, 100 miles north of NYC.

BTW, it was among the most interesting properties we inspected. Lots of outdoor targets, and shell casings on the ground. It passed for a hunting camp, of which there are many up there.

Another interseting property, also in Perry, was a pornographer’s place. It had a huge ornately decorated master bedroom, with adjoining bath—no wall—and a huge red bathtub! Hard to sell to the average househunter.
