I wonder if Specter ever played cards - or chess. The man is a disgrace. Maybe he’s afraid Pelosi will slap his face.

I think the only thing big Arlen ever played with is himself.

Every time I see him interviewed on TV he seems to be whining.

We? More like the moochers and looters in PA. Take it up with those idiots, they deserve to be shamed all the way to hell.

Some of us tried last time and failed. If only Toomey had gotten a few more votes in the primary...

Cedric, read Ivanhoe. He(Cedric)lived in the past too.

You will see that 98% whittle its way down with time, but I hope you are right and I am wrong.

I just wish this wet noodle would stop calling himself a Republican.

No, actually, you're living in the past.

Currently, the GOP is “whittling up” to 98.6% solidarity on this porkulus abomination.

In the past, we only dreamed of this degree of resistance by the GOP.

What's happening RIGHT NOW is encouraging.

I'm quite sure he’ll be replaced by a real Democrat in his next reelection bid.

They know Specter barely won last time. They figured by getting him to go against the party he would be out. They will bring ACORN and SOROS in and buy a Democrat. They want PA badly.

Got tin foil?

Got party platform or agenda beyond a huge tent for the circus freaks? GOP died in 1996.

We've pushed Pelosi as far as she's willing to go -- and need to take this deal now.

Who's WE? WE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE don't want this deal. Push Pelosi right off a cliff as far as I'm concerned. NO DEAL.

GOP died in 1996.

I thought your position was that the GOP is alive and well and working in league with the Democrats, the Tri-Lateral Commission, the Bilderbergers and the Unseen Forces Of Darkness to bring on the "NWO".

As a party of significant opposition to the liberal agenda the GOP dies in 1996. It got depressed over Christie Whitman’s convention speech and then overdosed on Bob’s Viagra. But really my tag line says it all about the Dems and GOP. GOP has a few fighters but way too many who are closet socialist like Specter Snowe Collins etc.

Specter is in there now thanks to George W. Bush and his campaigning for Specter.

You're right. If it weren't for GWB Joe Hoeffel would be the Democrat senator from PA right now.

Jim Robinson has Boxer and Feinstein as his Senators. I guess that makes him stupid?

No but it makes his neighbors appear pretty darn stupid!

Well if they had fought a few months ago or even since 1996 which they haven't this would not even be a debate today. Remember how many GOP folded on bailouts? Curse them! They empowered the DEMs and even Obama with his new Executive Branch powers and programs they insisted Bush just had to have curse them all who voted for it.

I hope you enjoy the Constitutional Crisis {shreeding that damned piece of apaper} the GOP helped create by allowing abuse of powers to start with. Doinbg so by setting the precisenents for what's coming down.

When the GOP can be led around agenda wise by Barney Frank the party is indeed dead. And no Rush isn't it's answer either. He should have kept his ego out of the DEMs primaries.

Quit livin’ in the past.

NOW, in 2009, the GOP is hanging tough against the porlulus bill.

Bravo!

I agree with you about Rush.
