James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

I believe that once a mother decides to have an abortion, the child is an orphan. I don’t think allowing our “enemies” to kill their own is in any way justifiable before God. I understand your argument of free and sovreign will, but to allow murder of children is to take away the will of that child, who we don’t what he/she will decide to do with their own life.

James 1:27 - Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. (KJV)

Revamped scriptures don't work with me. You all can do what you want but know this. God demonstrated for us how He handled others murdering others. He let it happen and then administered His just judgments.
I wouldn't be here if abortion were legal 80 years ago and neither would any of my seven siblings or my four children or my grandchild. I hate abortion but I know God and His written word. Even in your revamed "New International Version" of the Bible this scripture does NOT tell us stop women from murdering their children. What it does tell us however is to not be soiled by their deeds. We are NOT to partake in any way which for me means I am not to assist them in their debauchery in any way including paying for it.

You want to stand up against Congress' desire to make me pay for the murder of children I am with you all the way but I'll not stop someone from inflicting harm upon their own.

Sorry!
