Unfortunately, the courts have ruled that Senators (Federal Elected Officials) cannot be subject to state recall efforts, neither of which ME or PA have one.

Now’s the time to start finding replacements. Not 2010, 2012, or 2014.

Who’s running against Spector? And is this person going to able to effectively communicate conservative principles so that they don’t get blown out by 15-20 points? I don’t know if Ed Rendell is running or not but the seat will be hard to keep (R) either way.

Who’s going to run in ME? What name recognition is there?

We can talk all day about RINO’s and liberals sending the country up the creek, but if we aren’t prepared to do battle when the elections come around, what’s the point?

Case in point. 2010, Maryland’s Governor is rated the worst in the country. Yet, unless Bob Ehrlich runs, there’s a 90% chance O’Malley will be reelected. And Babs is up for Senate reelection against who, EJ Pipkin? I don’t suspect Steele will run for office now, not after two years because turning around the sinking GOP ship will take years and might reflect negatively were he to leave before making any progress.

there is a recall process for every elected official. Generally speaking it takes 60% of the amount of people to petition who voted in that particular election. Then if that number is satisfied a new election is held.
