You're not going to get much of a house, but who cares? The land is the most important part. You want the North shore if you can get it. South shore is a little cheaper, but you get hammered with waves and it's shallow. You can walk out over 200 yds. and it'll only be knee-deep. But it's a nice sandy bottom and kids love it. There's a constant current so algae and stinkiness aren't factors. If you want to spend more you can get a REALLY nice place with lots of shoreline.
