The only seeming fact there appears to be here isn't that Obama can't prove he's a natural born citizen, but rather those who are motivated by politics and want to make this a political issue can't seem to prove that he is not.

Your logic is flawed.

0bama has provided nothing to allegedly establish that he is a "natural born citizen" - nothing!, so there is nothing to disprove.

The burden of proof is for him to establish his bona fides.

He has spectacularly failed to do that.

Politics doesn't enter into it, It's a matter of constitutional law, and the Constitution applys equally to everyone.

I didn't say disprove. I said prove.

And he did provide for the general public a scanned image of his Certification of Live Birth.

The document itself was kept at his Chicago campaign headquarters. But no one cared enough save for Fact Check to bother going there and asking to see it for themself.

If no one can be bothered to do that much, then whose fault is that?

Obama made an assertion of eligibility when he signed candidacy forms. It’s up to him to support that assertion and not up to skeptics to disprove it.
