Now I'm not saying that if someone had bothered to pick up the phone and contact the Obama campaign and ask if Obama would release it that they would have. I have no idea just what the response would have been.

It's pretty evident there is significant interest from the public and the press in seeing his birth certificate, and you are postulating about the nature of the request made to see it and the effect that would have on 0bama's response?

You are ridiculous, and so is 0bama if he only responds to questions if they are asked in a certain way - though you may actually be correct there, he is very thin skinned and clearly temperamental.

I have no idea who may, or may not, have asked nicely, asked rudely, or asked pretty please. But I am absolutely certain there are hundreds of thousands who want to see it, and that campaign knew that, as does the administration now.

If they are not aware, then they are obviously incompetent and unfit to lead.

Besides, we know that when you ask 0bama a straight question, nicely - he LIES.

He was asked about his relationship with William Ayers and claimed he was "just a guy that lives in my neighborhood" when in fact we know he had been associated with him since his days at Columbia in 1982 when Ayers was also at school in New York at Bank Street College, less than a quarter of a mile away from Columbia. We know they had mutual friends, such as Edward Said, Marxist professor and PLO spokesman, teacher of 0bama's English class, and friend of William Ayers. We know all about his patronage to get into Harvard courtesy of Ayers' father. We know all about how he met his wife while working a summer job for a firm that had Ayers' father as a major client. We know where they shared office locations together and the boards they sat on together -their lives have been inextricably intertwined for twenty seven years - but 0bama lies about it and conceals any documents he can to cover it up.

So when you come to this forum and suggest we just didn't ask the right people in the right way we know you are a joke, and clearly apart of the 0bama dis-information organization.

You seem to be missing the point.

Why did no one, and especially the likes of Berg, bother to simply pick up the telephone, contact the Obama campaign, and ask if they would provide a copy of his birth certificate?

This should have been the first act of any rational person who had questions and any sincere desire to get at the truth. That it didn't happen, I simply can't take seriously the motives of those involved.

We're talking about a request here. How does one lie in response to a request? They'll either honor the request or they wont. So I fail to see your point here other than to make some political point, which just reinforces my feelings that this is really just a political issue trying to masquerade as something which is and should not be a political issue.

Either Obama meets the Article II requirements or he does not. That's it. Just simple truth. No politics.

I rest my case, and see that you are not one with whom this issue can be discussed except as a political issue. As I said before, I burned out on arguing politics years ago and have no desire to start doing so now.
