So do reporters count? Jim Geraghty of National Review asked for it during the campaign. As you have already been told earlier on this thread, in #737. And so did other reporters.

Geraghty then saw Factcheck's version via photos which he accepted as valid. In June he writes that Obama could debunk a lot of rumors by making his birth certificate public. National Review

So other people who are asking for 'transparency' are making a reasonable request, IMO. Such a request is independent of their being pro or con regarding the authenticity of the COLB.

Are you familiar with a thing called "context"?

The context of my comment that you reply to here is from August of last year onward, when Fact Check released the photographs and it was made known that the paper document was kept at Obama's Chicago campaign headquarters.

Your Jim Geraghty comment goes back to well before that.
