A lot of people are missing another aspect of this disaster.

Both the House and Senate used to hold hearings with respect to the pros and cons of legislation. Massive spending bills like this being rammed through complete subvert the entire process.

There is no time allowed to debate the individual merits of all the components of the pork thrown into something this monstrous.

It's a destruction of the entire process in a blatant and furious power grab under cover of darkness and secrecy.

Correct!

But the good news is we live in a highly connected world. Any citizen can read the bill highlights in an hour, get outraged, and get active.

They cant keep us in the dark.
