Maybe, maybe not.
I typicaly buy leases with a strawma. . . . landman, so you can never tell who is buying.
Indeed, sometimes you buy with 3 or 4 landmen (who hopefully don’t bid against each other), so people don’t know you’re putting a package togehter, or bid the process up because they know you’re on to something.
Thanks for the info. I was always surprised how many little independents were bidding on leases in the NPRA. Now I understand better.
