From the perspective of someone born in the 50’s, yes we are a FAT nation. It seems to have skyrocketed in the last 10-15 years.
In my grade school days,one or two very obese kids was the average in the entire school. Now it appears that 3/4 of the kids (and their parents) could stand to loose 20-30 lbs.
I agree with that.
When I walk around town or go shopping, it’s far less common to see people who aren’t overweight.
