The Rooneys — I don’t know which ones — are staunch supporters of the Thomas More Law Center. They donate Super Bowl tickets which the TMLC raffles off. TMLC describes itself as “a public interest law firm dedicated to the defense and promotion of the religious freedom of Christians, time-honored family values, and the sanctity of human life.” They’re involved in the defense of LTC Chessani in the Haditha case.

All family and friends that I watched the game with were disgusted by this idiot and we are Steeler fans. This a$$ just spit on all Steeler fans that didn’t vote for “zero”.

I grew up near Pittsburgh. (please, no apologies necessary) I remember watching Bradshaw et al with my father, and he told me one of the things he admired most about the Steelers was Art Rooney's devotion to the Catholic church. That he was a great but humble man, and attended mass daily.

I passed the story on to my kids last night, during the game. Thankfully, they didn't see any of the post-game bufoonery by Art's misguided son.

I was watching when Rooney accepted the trophy. I have been trying to control my Obamabot Inspired Tourette's Syndrome, but lost it when Rooney thanked Obama.
