Biden’s Very Partisan Super Bowl Bash

While President Barak Obama hosts a White House Super Bowl party, one conspicuous no-show will be his vice president.
Joe Biden will be holding court at his new VP residence on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Observatory near posh Embassy Row.
Just who is on the VP’s Super Bowl invite list? The White House tipped off the press, and the group is hardly nonpartisan, In fact, it looks like an old smoke-filled room of Democratic Party “elders.” The same group that Obama had been railing against.
The invitees include:
Sen. Max Baccus, D-Mont.
Sen. Tom Carper, D-Del.
Sen. Kent Conrad, D-N.D.
Sen John Kerry, D-Mass.
Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla.
Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.
On the House side:
Rep. Robert Brady, D-Pa.
Rep. Jim Clyburn, D-S.C.
Rep. Stenny Hoyer, D-Md.
Rep. John Larsen, D-Wash.
Seems not one GOP member from either chamber made it to Biden’s party.
Also not clear: Just who is footing the bill for the Biden bash, and is the VP engaging in a betting pool at the bash?
Is the IRS watching?
The White House was mum on the subject.
Zero preaching for the porkulus bill at the Super Bowl!
