North Korea is led by a nut who has the following demented idea:
I will get my way or I will destroy everyone (including my own country) in order to get it.
The South Koreans should just tell his to go screww himself and cut off all ties. Ignore any overtures he makes. Send NOTHING to the North. NOTHING! When enough of his own people start to die because of his policies maybe they will rise up and then the South can send aid to the PEOPLE and not the North Korean government.
The south won’t ever do that.

And they did not rise up. What it does prove is the power that totalitarianism has over the people, who are constantly told (and shown) that they live FAR BETTER than anyone else on the planet.
Why they even have electric trains now! Imagine that!
