Sure. Just cut the waste and everything else will be fine. Are you implying we couldn't have thought of that?

I am not implying anything. I am saying that all aspects of our government, including our military have not been good stewards of our money, and if we are going to chastise the other side for their spending, then we better be the ones leading by example.

Maybe the Joint Chiefs should announce a major overhaul of wasteful spending, as an alternative to the budget cut. And make a concerted effort to do so. There is nothing stopping them from doing that.

And no they don’t think about it because they are so patterned to be ENTITLED to the funds. Yes our military as a whole at the admin level feels entitled. While our military and schools and safety are entitled to tax funds, they are not entitled to an unlimited or unrestricted amount.

While I am a conservative I am not a party hack, and want to reform our side of the aisle as much as the other.
