All those things a pro-abortion politician do not add up to. By the way, Pelosi et al are not devout in any way shape or form.
You’re quite bitter then. Well I’m sorry. I wish I could get your money back. And mine. Good night.
“All those things a pro-abortion politician do not add up to.”
I haven't said that Mr. Steele is a pro-abort politician. I've said that given his remarks from the 2006 election, it's no longer reasonable to count him as a pro-life politician.
If he wishes to say that he's pro-life, he needs to clarify his views on Roe. If he can't, then it is unreasonable to assert that he's pro-life.
In which case, I'm unwilling to belong to a political party with a chairman who is on record accepting Roe.
“By the way, Pelosi et al are not devout in any way shape or form.”
Many of these clowns go to Mass regularly. Many would regard those who assist at Mass weekly to be at least moderately devout. You, yourself define devoutness at least partly in terms of Mass attendance.
“Youre quite bitter then.”
Gee, I don't feel bitter. ;-)
But I try not to stick my head in the sand. Mr. Steele's words aren't congruent with those of a pro-lifer. If he wants to clarify, that's great! But without clarification, I can only go by what he's actually said.
Until he clarifies what he said, and reaffirms that Roe must go, I'll take him at his word. He accepts Roe. Stare decisis and all that.
“I wish I could get your money back. And mine.”
I'm not worried about the money, per se. I just don't want to help support people who do evil. Those who accept Roe do evil.
“Good night.”
Good night to you, too.
