Then we might as well throw in the towel now. Again, the US is becoming less and less white. It's a numbers game that the GOP is losing. Math may be uncomfortable, but it doesn't lie.

As for minorities not being conservative - I disagree completely. I know plenty of black and Latino people that are very conservative, but don't vote Republican for two reasons. One, they don't realize how conservative they are because they don't really understand the conservative message as defined by the media. And two, they don't see anyone who looks like them on conservative tickets. I don't think white people (like me) appreciate how powerful that is for minorities in America.

When (read if) we start to get minority candidates running on conservative principles, I think many will be surprised how successful they will be. But, the last 20 years the GOP had done a criminally bad job of recruiting, grooming and promoting minorities. We are far too eager to say, "Republicans don't play identity politics". That's silly. That's stubborn. And, that's an eternally losing strategy.
