Did he mention the suns temperature supposingly is a half a degree hotter?

Nope. Me thinks that they have reviewed their data and are now not as sure about the GHG (GreenHouse Gas) theory as fellow Weather Channel guru Heidi Cullen was when she made the following statement:

"If a meteorologist can't speak to the fundamental science of climate change, then maybe the AMS shouldn't give them a Seal of Approval. Clearly, the AMS doesn't agree that global warming can be blamed on cyclical weather patterns."
