I'm sad Mark Haines, who I thought was a conservative, went after him.
I heard some Lib “economist” yesterday claiming...with a straight face...that unemployment benefits and medicaid are an economic stimulus.
Holy Carp!
Lights off; lights on; repeat (less then an hour each time). No school and a two hour delay this a.m. Roads horrible this a.m. No snow for the weekend (hopefully) so uinterrupted power for Super Bowl :). But guess what supposedly coming our way Monday night?
How were things in your neck of the woods?
Lord yes......the pain is way down and the deep lung cough is gone but the dehydrated hurt is gone too.....but I have to take all the medican or it could return even worse they said
I totally support the National Park picinic basket stimnulus.
And you don’t want THAT to happen. Be sure to drink as much water as you can so you can STAY hydrated.
Oh my...best wishes. That does not sound fun.

The Obey story:
A top House Republican is demanding an investigation into whether the more than $2 billion for national parks in the House stimulus package is proper in light of the fact that the chief lobbyist for the National Parks Conservation Association is the son of House Appropriations Committee Chairman David R. Obey.
NPCA is a major player in advocating for national parks funding, and its senior vice president for government affairs is Craig Obey, son of the Wisconsin Democrat who has long been his party’s top Appropriations Committee member.
The money included in the stimulus bill that passed Mr. Obey’s committee - $2.25 billion - was about equal to the National Park Service’s total yearly budget, and would be a staggering increase and almost three times the $802 million that the Senate Appropriations Committee approved for park spending in its stimulus bill.
On Wednesday evening, the House passed the $819 billion stimulus bill by a 244-188 vote, though every Republican in the chamber and 11 Democrats voted against it.

Power went off 9am, but came back 12:15pm. Everything is still coated with ice. Whoever clears my road always shoves the snow into the parking area. Was out shoveling that. That ice under there is awful.
Monday? Again?! Gahh.
I do not mean to sound disheartened, doubtful, or disparaging...but Ms. Palin would have to "rehabilitate" her image with the very same MSM that trashed it in the first place.
She'll have as much luck at this as did Dan Quale (sp?).
The repubs had better look for and find someone else...and quick.
Small victories add up. Expect it to lead on the evening news...NOT!
This CNBC guy is a real jerk.
Hiya, Conservobabe.
“The repubs had better look for and find someone else...and quick.

Reagan tried three times at the Presidency before he was successful.
Your point?
Those things don't work very well anymore. The EPA has overridden the FDA and took the FREON out of the propellant. The new stuff needs more doses to do the old work, and of course costs more. Can't complain tho... my 7 hour stay at the ER only cost me $1400.
