Barry, you are such a freakin' hypocrite. A typical limosine lib: free with other people's money, tight with your own.
The normal budget is about $3 trillion, and the stimulus bill, most of which violates the 10th Amendment, is about 30% of the budget. The pork bill costs about the same amount as the 1983 federal budget and about twice as much as the 1977 budget.
Next, they’ll introduce the “Geitner Rule” to eliminate punishment for outright tax fraud.
How anyone expects that the government sucking that much capital out of the economy will spur growth is beyond my comprehension.
We’re going to have monsterous inflation in the very near future after this goes into effect.
Get better soon, I have an inhaler from my bronchitis/pneumonia called Ventolin and it works nicely. i was also told to take mucinex DM.
I don’t see how we will pay for it. Our kids and their kids will have to pay for it if we still exist as a nation.
The people, who think that increased government spending helps the economy, are probably the same people who think that the New Deal eliminated the Depression. They forget that, in 1940, the unemployment rate was 14%.
**I have an inhaler from my bronchitis/pneumonia called Ventolin and it works nicely.**
Mine is Combivent... very NEW, very EXPENSIVE, doesn’t work too well, either. I get better Results from the Generic form of BRONKAID MIST (off the Drug Store Shelf)
**i was also told to take mucinex DM.**
I take one of those at night.. during day I use Walmart’s brand expectorant.. go figger.
The effects of this Porkulus plan will not stimulate anything but deflation and massive unemployment.
It will take years for most business’ to come back, the few lucky ones that do. And even though Wall Street may make a modest recovery, any gains will be eaten up by runaway inflation, as well as the need to print more money.
Inflation will be standing by waiting for the recovery to start, then inflation will kick in and quickly gobble up any gains and further complicate the economic future.
This is a real mess folks! And there is now little we can do about it. The cat heard is out of the barn.
I don’t see how we’ll pay for it. I haven’t heard Obama or any congressmen explain how we’ll pay for it.
In 2010, conservative candidates, for the U.S. Senate and House, should campaign together, similarly to the Contract with America. They should promise that, if Republicans regain control of both houses of Congress, theyll pass a set of about five bills, including cutting tax rates to the 1988 rates, obeying the 10th Amendment (which includes repealing all federal laws that mention abortion and spending that isnt mentioned in the Constitution), and building a brick wall along the Mexican border. Next month, many people will celebrate the 200th anniversary of Lincolns birth. That would be the perfect time to recruit more conservative candidates, into the republican party.
I was listening to the news at the top of the hour on KMJ 580. If I understand it right, not only is the Governor going to order the two days off, he is going to order an ADDITIONAL across the board pay cut of 10% for all State employees. OUCH!
All I can say is, “Good!”
Good for you. I too have chosen the generic brand of Mucinex. the “DM” is the important identifier.
Just got back from the doc and I am back on Amoxicillin for a week. After that I am scheduled for a visit to pulmunary to do a lung capacity/breathing test. You may inquire to do same. Good luck and take it easy my FRiend.
