One would hope. But the Bad Man is very cunning and your new President quite naive (either that or he is deliberately evil — I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for now) and Lord Knows what technicalities the Bad Man will exploit as a result.

Honestly, I don't think Obama or anyone else in our government knows with certainty whether Bin Laden is even alive or dead. He hasn't made a realiable appearance in quite a while, and if anything it looks to me as though Al-Zawahiri is the guy in charge now.

I predict we're going to be hearing less and less about Bin Laden as the time goes by in this administration.
