Obamas sprint to the left suggests that he knows he will probably lose the house in 2 years.
I think he would be more moderate if he thought he could hold the house and gain re election.
He knows he is going to be a one hit wonder so he is striking while the iron is hot.

Right on sir. Kinda like playing Texas Hold’em. When a player bets really big it’s because he wants you to fold cause he has a losing hand. When I have a winning hand I bet resonable to keep people in.
