I’m not exactly sure of that now. Since Obama’s been elected I’ve heard both my 14yo nephew and 12yo niece both say things that they have never grown up with hearing. On one hand it’s disturbing but seeing what his adviser’s are saying maybe it’s not so far out of line?

I have seen this kind of thinking in corporate business, where a large two-letter corporation I worked for decreed that we must buy office supplies and other items only from minority-owned businesses. We ended up spending about three times as much as we could have by looking for the best competitive deal. The minority-owned businesses quickly figured out that they could charge whatever they wanted. Honky-male-owned businesses couldn’t sell a pencil for a penny. This was absurd, and it is just as absurd today.

I have had no further contact with my cousin’s son. Would you?? After the election I e-mailed my cousin to tell him that I would hold him personally responsible for all the destruction that 0bama would wreak. He told me not to worry, that 0bama would take responsibility for EVERYTHING. Because he can. I wrote back, my last e-mail to my cousin, that I didn't want 0bama to take care of me, I wanted the freedom to take care of myself. My cousin is 60 and sounds like he, along with his whole family, has drunk the Jonestown kool-aid.

I would have missed this since I don’t watch CNN or any television news if you hadn’t posted this story here. One problem is that not enough Americans are paying attention—they are totally turned off from the media to begin with—Obama’s people aren’t aware enough to know that the unflattering things they say about Americans will eventually get around. BUt it’s going to take a while for the truth to sink in.

I cannot understand it. One of my liberal friends supported obama because she thought he would be a kind and compassionate leader. Another, because he thought obama would have fresh ideas. Holy cow! They knew nothing about obama’s policies or history but that didn’t matter at all.
Do these people have no instinct for survival?
