I know B.S. when I smell it. And 83% is B.S. if there ever way some. How would that many people approve of a guy who had yet to even take office or actually accomplish anything?

Why did he only get 52% of the vote and yet 70s and 80%s of the public ‘approves’ of him?? Something doesn’t sound kosher and it’s probably the rotting pork waiting in the hallways of the NYT and the House Office buildings.

Approval ratings are not connected to public support except tangentially. The entire concept is ludicrous - Gallup calls and asks you thing like "Are you happy with the way your job is going?" and such and bandies that about as an approval rating of the government.
